Kinomaja
This theatre is known as the “Cinema House,” and is run by the Estonian cinema union. This gives it the chance to show art films, obscure and little-known films, and other kinds of experimental cinema. Films from all over the world are shown here, as well as several Estonian and eastern European ones. Come here for something different and surprising and for films that make you think.

Coca-Cola Plaza
This is the most high-tech cinema in Tallinn, with 11 gigantic-screen theatres. This is the place to come for Hollywood blockbusters and other big international releases, and there’s plenty to choose from at any one time. They also have a nice selection of children’s films. Tickets for the shows start at 120 kr.
Kosmos
This cinema is run by the same company as Coca-Cola Plaza, but is smaller and the tickets are much cheaper. There are two screens here, most often showing American or English blockbusters and sometimes some major European films.
Sõprus
This is Tallinn’s best-known art house cinema, and features a wide variety of independent and off-beat films and shorts. They show many Estonian productions, as well as a nice range of children’s movies. The theatre is housed in a delightfully pompous neoclassical Stalinist building in the Old Town. Ticket prices range from 50 - 100 kr.
