Le Bonaparte
A first-rate French restaurant located in one of the oldest buildings in the Old Town, Le Bonaparte has great food as well as great ambiance. The building dates from the 13th century and has been beautifully restored to its former glory. The menu features light, delicious, freshly-made pastries, rich entrees of duck, chicken, pasta and seafood, and a variety of gourmet desserts. There is also a delightful selection of wines, from France and elsewhere.
Le Château
An atmospheric restaurant done up in 16th century French style, this is a fun and romantic place to eat. It has excellent food and is surprisingly not too touristy. Specialties include seafood and a variety of unusual soups, which come in very generous portions in a big turine. Le Château is elegant yet rustic, full of heavy wooden furniture and lit mainly by candles. The staff is dressed in 16th century costumes for added flair, and they are generally friendly and effecient.
C’est La Vie
This is a chic, elegant restaurant decorated in the style of the 1930s. The cuisine is French with some contemporary twists, and features a wide selection of soups, cold appetizers, main dishes of meat, seafood and vegetarian options, and some classy desserts. The restaurant is quiet and usually full of many couples.
