Allecto
This bookshop specializes in English-language books, and has the best selection in Tallinn. There are only a few books in Estonian, and a few in Russian and maybe a couple in other languages. They sell novels, non-fiction, cookbooks, maps, travel guides, as well as a smattering of magazines.
Opening times: Mon - Fri 9 am - 6 pm, Sat 11 am - 4 pm
Sireen
Sireen specializes in foreign language books, and there is a good selection of books in English, Finnish, French, German, Russian, Spanish, and possibly other languages. Of course since there are books in so many different languages, the selection within each language is not so great, but you can find some good, entertaining books, some classics, and maps and other travel materials.

Kolk Raamatu-Antikvariaat
This quirky bookstore features old and rare books, and is definitely the place to come if you are a serious book collector. There are books dating back as far as the 18th century, some of which are beautifully bound and well-preserved. There are also some first editions, as well as some more ordinary second-hand books.
