Le Bistroquet
A popular restaurant with an excellent reputation, Le Bistroquet is one of the best French restaurants in The Hague. It is small and intimate and elegantly decorated, and has a varied menu. In addition to traditional French delicacies, featuring among other things lamb, fish, and many fresh vegetables, there are also some “international” dishes taken from other cuisines, such as Irish salmon with lobster ravioli and Thai curry sauce. Main courses range from € 23 - 35. All major credit cards are accepted.

Calla''s
This restaurant opened ten years ago, and has become well-known for its classic and simple French food. The dishes are not particularly fancy or complicated, but they are all made from the best, freshest ingredients, and prepared just right to bring out the flavours. The dishes are also artistically presented in ways that highlight the shapes and colours of the food.
The interior of the restaurant has recently been redesigned inside, giving it a more hip, modern look.

Des Indes
This restaurant is located within the luxury Hotel des Indes, and is historic and elegant, yet recently refurbished to give it a more modern flair. For over a hundred years, it has served royalty, world leaders, artists, and other celebrities, and is generally considered a place to see and be seen. The menu has something for all tastes, and ranges from simple sandwiches to gourmet French meals made under the direction of top chef Ben Hardeman. In addition to the restaurant, there is also a bar and lounge area. The price of a meal is generally between € 25 - 40

Le Haricot Vert
This restaurant is French with some Belgian elements, and is a local favourite due to its warm atmosphere and understated charm. The food is very good, featuring seafood and meat specialties accompanied by seasonal vegetables, tasty salads, and much more. The three course “Verwen Menu” is a wonderful, indulgent choice if you want to sample generous portions of the daily specials. Main courses range from € 15- 25, and there are fixed-price menus starting at € 27. All credit cards are accepted.

Saur
Located on a beautiful square in the centre of the city, Saur is a well-known and historic restaurant that has been around since 1928. In 2001, it was voted Best Restaurant of the Year in The Hague. The cuisine is traditional French, prepared to perfection. It is a fairly pricey restaurant, but both the food and the service live up to high expectations. Main courses range from € 27 - 45, and there are fixed-price menus for € 30 and € 50. All major credit cards are accepted.

Maxime
This restaurant puts emphasis on design as well as food, and offers delicious French cuisine in a beautiful space that is modern and artistically decorated. The head chef, Marcel van der Kleijn, is also the owner of Calla’s French Restaurant. The food is traditional French with a few dishes that branch out into international cuisine. Prices are mid-range, and quite reasonable for the quality of the dishes.
