Phonsawan Thai Cuisine
A popular restaurant that also does take-away, Phonsawan serves authentic Thai cuisine in a welcoming, romantic setting. There is a very wide variety of dishes to choose from, featuring chicken, pork, beef, tofu, and seafood with vegetables in many different sauces, served with noodles or rice. Many of the dishes are vegetarian, and you can specify how spicy you would like your meal. There is a nice outdoor eating area set up here in the summer.
Opening times: Tues - Sat 5 pm - 10 pm. Sun 5.30 pm - 8.30 pm
Ruen Thai
A trendy yet inexpensive restaurant, Ruen Thai is popular with everyone from students to businessmen. The menu is not the most extensive, but all the dishes are good and well-prepared, and there is a nice balance between meat, seafood and vegetarian dishes. Unlike most restaurants, they charge you extra for noodles and rice, however.
