Haagse Markt
This is the best-known market in The Hague, as it is a large, classic, open-air market open several days a week, and has a very wide selection of goods. This is the most common market for locals to do their food shopping at, as there are many stalls to choose from selling fresh produce, meats, cheeses, ethnic foods, seafood, and more. You can also find clothes, nicknacks, jewellery, and practical items such as batteries, shampoo, and back packs here. Do check the prices before buying these kinds of items, as they may be bargains, but can just as easily be overpriced compared to what you would pay in a regular store.

Organic Market
This is a traditional-style open-air market that offers a nice variety of organic foods. In addition to lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, there are also baked goods, cheeses, meats, jams, condiments, and other food in cans or jars. It is a nice small market that still has a good selection.

Antiques and Book Market
This market always has some interesting things for sale, and is a must for all book lovers and collectors. The selection of antiques and books varies from week to week, but there is always something special if you look carefully. The antiques range from very old indeed to relatively recent, and sometimes come from exotic places as well.

An indoor market/shopping mall area in the centre of The Hague featuring a mix of shops and stalls, the Markthof is a great place to shop. You will find food, lots of clothes, books, office supplies, and more, as well as places to eat.
