Mercado Central
This is Valencia’s best and most famous market, located in an impressive building built in 1928, decorated with ceramics and stained-glass windows. There are more than 1,000 produce stalls, selling very fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, cheeses, meats and much more. There are also prepared-food stalls and little tapas bars where you can nip a delicious bite. Not all the stalls sell food, and there are several selling cooking-related items, such as earthenware.

This is one of the best places in the city to buy fish, and they also offer many kinds of delicious packaged items, such as jam, olives, oils and vinegars, etc. Some stalls sell soaps and beauty products.
