The Valencia airport is a busy one, handling many national and international flights daily. Now there are many budget airlines flying to Valencia from other European destinations. The airport is located 9 km from the centre of Valencia and is easily accessible by bus and train. Buses leave every 11 minutes for Tùria station with a journey time of about 30 - 40 minutes. There is a special airport bus called the Aerobus that is quicker and goes directly to the city centre, but is slightly more expensive. Trains to the city leave the airport every 20 minutes. It is also possible to take a taxi into town, which costs around € 10.

by car
Valencia is a big enough city to have its fair share of traffic problems, but renting a car can still be a good way to get around, especially if you want to explore some sites that are further afield. There are many one-way streets in the city that can be confusing for tourists, and unfortunately the road signs often leave something to be desired, but if you get a good road map you should have few difficulties.
