Art and culture are having a very long tradition especially in the fields of theatre and opera but also in visual arts. The most popular attraction is the Hundertwasser house of Friedensreich Hundertwasser, which was meant to be an opponent to the cool modern architecture.
One of the things of international importance found in Vienna is the musical production. In hardly any other city so many composers and musicians have worked. The Vienna waltz, the Vienna Choirboys, musical events, as the New Year’s concert or the Opernball, and many theatres and operas are worldwide known. Vienna is also very known and popular for its coffee houses and the Viennese cuisine.
