Books, books, books as far as one can see. This bookshop is a paradise for book freaks. Amadeus sells books in every genre and to every imaginable topic. The prices are moderate, so even people with a small purse can find something over here. Amadeus has two branches, one in the Mariahilferstraße and one in the Landstraßer Hauptstraße which are both easy reachable by public transport. Take enough time to look around and browse through the world of books.

Morawa
The Morawa bookshop has two floors on which you can find something of nearly every genre. And if they don’t have it stocked, they can order the book for you. On the ground floor you mainly find TV books, new publications, audio books, travel, magazines, diaries, comics and encyclopaedias. The first floor offers novels, biographies, Computer books, English books, books about celebrities, history, geography ect. The choice is broad and the division of the shop well done but nevertheless it might take you a while to get what you are looking for.

Bookshop Herder
The bookshop Herder presents a wide range of different books on three different floors. The product line ranges from religion, philosophy, literature, history, life guides, children’s books to education science. Their aim is to deliver good service and support. But nevertheless, take time to go through everything. They have chairs where you can sit and check your selection of books – very nice!

Polish Bookstore. Zofia Reinbacher
The Polish bookshop was founded in 1984 in Vienna. At the beginning they sold literature that was forbidden in Poland and books or magazines written in exile. Today they established themselves as a bookshop exporting Polish literature to the rest of the world. Their products include Polish poetry and novels, History of Polish and Slavic literature, linguistics, dictionaries, biographies, remembrances and translations of Polish books into German. Books can be ordered as well as subscriptions for magazines and newspapers.

Kuppitsch
The main branch in the Schottengasse 4 is one of the biggest bookshops in Austria. On 1000 m² they present children’s books, novels, textbooks and specialised books. You can also find a wide range of cds and dvds. The branch in the Alserstraße has a big department of foreign literature. Beside new publications the also have a selection of price reduced books.
