Café Nowy Swiat
Another café that’s been around for more than a hundred years, Nowy Swiat was opened in 1883, though its interior has recently been modernized. It’s a chic establishment and a popular hangout with artists and a young, fashionable crowd. Film stars and politicians are also regularly sighted here. The café is a lovely, atmospheric place to come for a drink or a light meal, and a perfect place to encounter some colourful local characters.

Casablanca Café
Located right in the bustling centre of Warsaw, this café is next to the university and therefore very popular with students. Also full of many expats, the café draws an interesting and varied crowd. They serve a wide range of drinks: coffee, tea, beers both local and imported, an impressive cocktail menu, and all the usual juices and sodas. They also offer wireless internet and have a public computer.

A hip café with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, Coffee Karma makes you feel at home easily. They have great coffee and tea, and are particularly known for their fresh fruit juices which come in many tempting combinations. You can also get beer and wine and other alcoholic drinks. The furnishings are unique, mainly simple and wooden yet moulded into interesting shapes.

A well-established café located in a hip and artsy area of town, Modular has a great variety of food and drinks on offer. A chic, recently-opened bar, Cinnamon is located within the new Metropolitan Building, right across from the National Opera House. It attracts a fairly posh crowd and has a host of regulars, many of which come in before or after performances across the road. They serve meals here as well as all manner of drinks.

JasnaBar
This bar is refreshingly different and has the atmosphere of a funky club. They serve simple, tasty meals as well as many kinds of drinks and some exotic cocktails. A popular artists’ hangout, there are often performances and exhibitions that take place in the bar, so prepare to be surprised. In the evenings a DJ keeps things lively with some well-chosen tunes.

Organza
A classic Polish bar/club, Organza is a favourite with the younger crowd in the evenings. During the day it is a relaxed place to come for lunch or a drink, and later on it turns into a lively nightclub. Each night of the week features a DJ playing a different style of music, which could be 80s, electro, French house, and much more. Most of the natives dress up to come here.

This bar is located on one of Warsaw’s biggest streets and has bold, eye-catching décor in deep pastel colours.
