Recreation center "Meidrops" is situated in Ikskile, on a picturesque spot – directly on the banks of river Daugava only 27km away from Riga. The wooden-frame house with a restaurant and seminar premises was opened in 2002, but in summer 2006 “Meidrops” got an extension - a cozy guest house with 16 rooms and a water recreation center. The Restaurant has become well-known during this period. The menu prepared by our Chef Andris Rumitis will be a nice surprise – you can enjoy not only very delicious but also really exquisite dishes. Please make table reservations for weekends! The guest house offers mainly double and triple rooms. We provide quality accommodation for 42 guests. We offer baby-cots for our youngest guests so they could fall asleep just like at home. One of the rooms is equipped for handicapped guests. During the morning hours the guests are invited to enjoy our swimming pool free of charge. The water recreation center welcomes you even if you’re not staying at the guest house or participating in a seminar. As long as you have a desire to take a swim in our pool or to warm up in the sauna or steam house - come visit! Everything is new, clean and fresh – this is the best offer in the neighborhood. In case you want to rest and work simultaneously, you can surf the internet and check your e-mails while sitting on the bank of river Daugava, since “Meidrops” allows you to access wireless internet.
