The Dutch road system is easily accessible and extremely well maintained. The green ''E'' indicates international motorways, the red ''A'' national motorways and the letter ''N'' mark smaller roads. Speed limits: 120kph (75mph) on motorways - 80kph (50mph) on major roads - 50kph (30mph) in towns.The A10 is Amsterdam’s ring road. The main route out of Amsterdam is the A2 which goes in direction Brussels and Utrecht. Parking spots in the city are very limited and expensive and the regulations for parking are quite strict.
