Paris Cinema Festival

The Paris Cinema Festival is an eclectic screening of series of movies that are centred around International Competition, a highlight on a country, prestigious guests of honour, previews, tributes and retrospectives, in the presence of numerous French and foreign personalities.
The event is taking place at numerous venues all over the city and it is affordable for everyone since only 5 € for a movie or 25 € for a pass are charged. Some screenings are even for free.
The event has developed a strong international reputation and features a number of films in competition every year, along with several premières and a programme of activities, including outdoor screenings and concerts. Last year’s festival was visited by about 70.000 people, among them international celebrities.
