The Hotel SILVA is a 1920''s villa positioned in one of the most beautiful areas in Rome, a few steps away from Villa Torlonia. Born as pension in 1956, the recent change of management has brought it to new life and it is now a three star superior hotel. All the insides have been completely restructured in 2001, and brought to their original shine. This fascinating building, with its atmosphere"Liberty Style", its delightfully hand-made ceilings and with its excellent services offers very good value for money. All the Hotel rooms (13 only!) have independent air conditioning/heating, minibar, satellite tv, private and direct telephone line, Internet socket and private safe. Besides there is a café and a restaurant, which, with its Roman and international cuisine and its delicious fish based menu, constitutes a good added value; an external garage completes our basic services. The hotel, is located in a very quiet side road off Via Nomentana and is only five minutes walking from "piazza Bologna" (Subway "B" Line), where you can easily find connections with the rest of the town; many buses are direct among Via Nomentana and downtown (and therefore toward the most popular tourist spots such as Trastevere, St. Peter''s, piazza Navona..).
