Modern Ostia. The beach, a few kilometers long and equipped with seaside resorts, restaurants and night clubs, cheers up the holidaymakers during spring and summer. Just facing the Hotel there is a brand new port, that is full of life and bustle thanks to its shopping center, bars, ice-cream kiosks and all the boats it can accommodate: up to 800, from 8 to 60 m long. The harbour area is surrounded by an oasis of green safeguarded by the LIPU , the Italian Association that protects birds, which gives a contribution to the protection of the natural environment also in the wondereful old pinewood nearby.
