The Residenza d'Arte is situated in the town of Torrita di Siena, a 14th century village in stone a few kilometers from Siena, Pienza, Montepulciano, and Cortona. It rises majestically on a splendid hill surrounded by cypresses and age-old olive trees, which act as picture frames for the stupendous panorama. As soon as you cross the gate of this historic dwelling, you embark on an artistic and poetic experience that is a perfect fusion between the harmony of nature and the harmony of contemporary art, intelligently combined so as to make the Residenza d'Arte a unique place to stay. The reception desk is in a large and pleasant hall where old beams and stone walls vibrate in a moving dance together with numerous pictoral, sculptural, and design works of art. The shapes and the colors magically embrace the entire village within the interior atmospheres, the rooms, and the surrounding park.
