 | How to create popular keywords |
 |
It would be not an exaggeration to title the question ‘how to create popular keywords’ as the main concern of the internet business. Actually we should also include a time limit to this question: how fast can ‘you’ become a popular keyword? Is there a key-solution for the keyword problem?
Imagine, you want to start an online company to sell mobile phones. If you don’t want to use other people’s websites, you have to build one of your own. Whether you have a magnificent designer or not the main point of getting a good position on search engines depends on the way you have structured your keywords. So, before designing you have to answer the next question: what will be the name of the company? Is it better to have an original noun or to use existing popular words or a combination of both? This question is important because the domain name you have to buy depends on it.
Once this is answered, the next question will be ‘how are we going to place the keywords throughout the website’? On which combinations of adjectives or other nouns are you going to concentrate or which sub-keywords are you going to create?
Finding answers to these questions is generally not easy and especially not when you are operating in a high competitive field. As mentioned in the beginning it is the cornerstone of the whole internet business. Try to search on ‘keyword’ and you will notice a huge industry which promises to give solutions.
There are dozens of websites which offer keyword analysis, popular keywords, hot keywords, keyword statistics and so on. All of them pretend to know which words are used by people when they are searching on the internet. But this is almost an impossible promise. The only ones knowing this are the search engines themselves. And they would not make this public because their income is for a bigger part related to this knowledge.
And in between you stand with the mobile phones. What can you do now?
The first golden rule is: use search engines to find out which keywords related to your business are popular, or which keywords have the most ad words or advertisements. Different ways will help you to find it out.
The second golden rule is: never copy them. A starting company with limited budget will lose money if it wants to compete with the existing ones. Use therefore self created original nouns for your business, relate popular keywords to your business and place ad words on cheap low compatible sub areas.
The third golden rule is: instead of investing money and time in any advertisement, invest money in your own website and your intellectual domain. Try to read more literature, watch channels like discovery or national geography and buy dictionaries with latest additions. They will help you to enlarge your view to find out new words or combinations.
An original keyword is good for your own business and in the long term good for search engines.
