The hospitality industry is one of the biggest labour provider world wide and it is therefore certainly no wonder that many people are looking for a job in exact this sector. Thousands of people go on holiday every year and thousands of hotels all over the world give their best to please customer’s wishes. But therefore they need qualified staff, which is not always easy to get. Tobook sees this gap as an opportunity and therefore has integrated a tool on the tobook website that is providing a connecting platform for hotels and job seeker.
On the one hand this platform is creating the opportunity for hotels to post a job and look for qualified people. How can they do that? If hotels are already registered with tobook, they will find a link on their management centre, which brings them to the site for Hotel Jobs. Here you find all the necessary information to place a successful job advertisement. Under “Post a job” hotels can enter their search criteria and a job description. It is recommended to fill in as many information as possible in order to make it more attractive and more importantly more understandable for applicants. Once having placed a job advertisement, hotels can easily manage and edit them. Under “Show my Job adverts” all job positions placed by a hotel are listed and can easily be viewed. But of course there are always more ways to achieve a goal. That is why another function is added in which hotels can search for suitable applicants that have already submitted their application on the tobook website. “Search applicants” is an easy way to find people without posting an ad and waiting for people to answer. All applications from customers of the tobook site are evaluated and checked thoroughly. If a hotel finds a good match for their open position, tobook will provide all necessary information to build a bridge between the two clients. Furthermore they can also see the applicants who have applied for a submitted position.
The procedure for applicants is, of course, the other side of the coin.
