By air
Granadas Federico Garcia Lorca Granada - Jaen Airport is located 17km west to the city centre. It receives regular flight from Madrid, Barcelona, Mallorca, Las Palmas and Tenerife, where most international flights stop. Another way to get to Granada by air is to fly reach Costa del Sol international airport in Malaga, located 130 km from Granada.
From Granadas airport you can get to the city by taxi or bus. Outside the arrival hall there are a taxi service and a bus station that runs nine daily buses to the city centre.

By train
Granada is well connected to other Spanish cities. The train station is located on Avenida Andaluces s/n, 1.5km west of the city centre and the main ticket office is located on Calle de los Reyes Catolicos.

By car
Reaching Granada by car is pretty easy as the city is connected to Seville, Madrid, Malaga and most big cities.
From Malaga (located 122km from Granada) take the N331 north road, cutting northeast onto the N321 road and connected to the N342 road, which will lead you, strait to Granada.
From Seville (located 250km from Granada) take the N334 road, which becomes the N342 road and continue along it till it reaches Granada.
From Madrid (located 415km from Granada) take the NIV till the town of Bailen and continue on the N323 towards Jaen. From Jaen take the E902 road to Granada.

By bus
Spain is a pretty big country and is not very convenient to be covered by taking a bus, but getting to Granada by bus is a popular way of travelling with those on a tight budget. The buses are modern and comfortable and the road net is usually effective although the many mountains and the heavy traffic can make it very time consuming. Granadas bus station is Estacion de Autobuses de Granada on Carretera de Jaen, located 3km from the city centre. Alsina Graells runs daily buses to Seville, Malaga, Cordoba, Jaen and Almeria. Continental Auto runs buses to Madrid and Alsa runs buses along the coast as far as Barcelona.
