La Casona del Alba is is an old restaurated house placed in a small village of the north of Spain. It offers eight apartments conserving the original architecture, a meeting room and laundry room. Each apartment has two bedrooms, a bath room and a living-room with kitchen. The kitchen has microwave, fridge, and standard equipment. There is also T.V. You can relax in the 3000m garden, meet new people in the common room or ask Lola for a massage with aromatherapy as an extra. The river Narcea, wich is the most famous for salmon fishing in Asturias, runs close to the house. The house belonged to the Arias family, who owned a famous factory of sidra (Asturian national beverage!) and butter. The remains of the factory can still be seen near the Casona. The Nature is green here, almost tropical, due to the special features of climate and its nearness to the sea. Nevertheless, the immediate surroundings, far away the river, are montanous, covered by forests, grasslands, and other tiny villages. Special features of the region are food (reputed as excellent across the country), Etnographical and historical interesting places, availability of both beach and mountain and the traditional hospitability.
