Positive Comments

I stayed recently for a week at the El Mouradi Djerba Menzel with my daughter and teenage grand-daughter. The holiday exceeded all our expectations, it was excellent in every respect. The staff were so friendly and kind, they couldn't do enough for us. Our room was large and comfortable with everything we needed. The grounds were immaculate and the pools were the best I've seen (and I've travelled all over the world). Plenty of activities if you wanted them but no pressure at all if you just wanted to laze in the sun! The food was excellent and we were amazed that both food and drinks were available from 6 am to mid-night! A marvellous hotel for all ages and we three generations all had a fantastic time and can't stop talking about it.

The whole holiday experience and value for money could not have been better and I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to anyone. Thank you to everyone involved for a wonderful week!

Set in 33 hectares of grounds, the hotel El Mouradi Djerba Menzel is a haven of tranquillity, ideal for a complete change of scenery. Its traditional Djerbian construction, the menzels, give it a typical character and bohemian charm. The hotel has double rooms and junior suites distributed between a central building and the menzels. All rooms are air conditioned, have a terrace or balcony and full bathroom, direct-dial telephone, satellite TV, hair dryer, mini bar and safe. Restaurants and Bars The hotel offers a choice of four restaurants and five bars: buffet and à la carte restaurants, the Guellala restaurant, Calypso barbecue, Pacha lobby bar, Le Sultan saloon bar, L’Emir American bar and two poolside bars, Calypso and Neptune. It also has a Moorish café and night club. Activities and leisure Two seawater pools, one of which is for children, a freshwater pool with a children’s pool and a covered pool with Jacuzzi. The hotel offers a wide choice of leisure activities: nine tennis courts including two hard courts, a football pitch, a basketball court, a volleyball court, mini golf, billiards, petanque, archery, rifle shooting, darts, table tennis, beach volleyball as well as a water sport base (windsurfing, jet ski etc.). Daytime and evening entertainment programmes, a mini club for children (5-12 years) and a teenagers’ club (13-17 years). Thalassotherapy and Wellness The hotel has a thalassotherapy centre with a capacity of 80 curists per day offering a wide choice of cures and treatments, an seawater pool, a hammam and two saunas. Seminars and Congresses The hotel has the Selima conference room accommodating up to 600 people and four sub committee rooms. All the rooms have high performance audiovisual equipment plus an experienced team of technicians. A private car park is available to guests.
