-El Cortijo is open from May 1st until 23 October 2004 - El Cortijo de los Caballos is situated in a valley between the Paraiso and Atalaya Golf Courses and resembles a small oasis with its numerous palm trees and flower beds. Formerly an equestrian centre, the Cortijo has since been converted into 9 bungalow apartments with all the following facilities free of charge to residents: * large swimming pool * two outdoor jacuzzis * * honesty bar * barbecue area * table tennis * * satellite TV * DVD/video and films * croquet * * safes * electric fans * covered car park * * dartboard * sun lounges and mattresses * * absolute tranquility * Saddle Rooms Situated within the walls of the original corral are the Corral Apartments and Saddle Rooms. They are designed in such a way that two couples can holiday together and share the facilities whilst still maintaining a great deal of privacy. In describing a Saddle Room, one should imagine a comfortable hotel room with French windows leading out on to the terrace. The room has breakfast facilities only (no kitchen) with fridge, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, etc, a well equipped bathroom with bath and separate shower. The Saddle Rooms also have an electric fan and a safe as well as sun loungers and a table and chairs on the terrace. The Tower Room The Tower Room is reached via a winding staircase and has beautiful views over the pool and gardens of the Cortijo and is very private with a roof terrace at the back. It has the same facilities as the Saddle Rooms, however it has a shower instead of a bath. Stable Apartments These comfortable L-shaped studios were once the original stables. Now tastefully converted and decorated, they still retain the charm and character of the former riding school. They are well situated with sun on the terrace throughout the day. They have a double bedroom, a lounge/kitchenette with a microwave and a well fitted bathroom with bath and separate shower. As above
