BY CAR On leaving the airport, follow the signs Algeciras / Cádiz N 340 to get on the dual carrigage way heading West. Before you reach Torremolinos, take the motorway to Algeciras / Cádiz. When you get to Fuengirola you can opt for the toll road or the coastal dual carriage way (toll free). Follow either road till Marbella where both roads join together. About 4 km west of Marbella you wil see signs taking you off the dual carriage way to Puerto Banús. Ignore the first exit and take the second exit for Puerto Banús. The PYR Apart Hotel is the large white building near the dual carriage way on the Coast side of the road. BY TAXI A taxi from Malaga airport to the Hotel PYR in Puerto Banús costs approximately 60,00 euros and the travel time is 45 minutes. BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT A public bus runs from Malaga airport to Marbella main bus station called “PORTILLO” approximately every 01h45 minutes from 06h15 till 23h00. At the airport tickets have to be bought on the bus and cost 4,31 euros. It is a direct bus and the travel time is 45 minutes. When departing from Marbella, tickets have to be bought at the ticket window. You can either take the bus to San Pedro de Alcántara (get off when you see the Hotel on your left handside) or to Hipercor Puerto Banus (get off at the terminus).
