When we arrived they could not accommodate us, because they had problems with the rooms. They offered us another hotel in the neighbourhood. So far o.k. But I had to ask about the rating of the hotel, which was 1 star less, and ask myself for a lower price, they did not offer. They charged us at the Royal Eagle Hotel, and as it later turned out: Twice! I have called them since then a couple of times, they promised somebody would get in touch with me, but until today (more then a month later) they have not. So I am really annoyed with them! Dishonest and can not keep their promises.

(Tobook: hotel is contacted for what is happened. The reaction of the hotel: "Dear Sir . Madam Unfortunately there was a wrong charge on Mr. Keizer's credit card. The money has been already refunded to the guest's credit card and we have tried to contact the guest several times on the telephone provided but we didn't have any luck. We are still trying to get in touch with the guest to advise him about the refund and apologise for the inconvenience. ") ToBook2: money is refunded to the guest.)

Our triple room was so small we could hardly move in it. The lamp on the ceiling didn't work, the light in the bathroom was so dim I couldn't even make myself up; there was no socket in the bathroom, my bed cover was unstiched, the pillow cases dirty and a long queue to have breakfast every day. We'll go back to London, but not to The Royal Eagle.
