Nittel: The wine-producing village Nittel lies in a picturesque location, between high dolomite and chalk cliffs and the winding course of the Obermosel. Its Mediterranean flora and fauna are witness to the warm, gentle climate, which is particularly favorable for wine culture. Orchids even bloom in 2 nature reserves.
