  • By Train - Rome's main Train Station Termini is near the Hotel Veneto in Rome and the approximate distance between the Hotel and Termini is 1km. All international trains , Eurostar and Domestic Trains stop at Termini making the Hotel Veneto the ideal hotel for anyone arriving by rail from another city in Italy or for anyone who wants to go for a day trip to Florence (1 hour 45 minutes from Rome with the Eurostar) or down to Naples and Sorrento (1 hour 45 minutes with the Eurostar) Arriving by Metro at the Hotel Veneto is very simple. You should take line A from Termini Underground / Metro in the direction of Battistini and alight either 2 stops later at Barberini Metro Stop or 3 stops at Piazza di Spagna or Spanish Steps. The Hotel Veneto is towards the top of Via Veneto, turn right just after the American Embassy (via Boncompagni) and Via Piemonte is about 100 metres along the road.. By Car - Arriving by car is possible. Nevertheless, because the hotel is situated in the city center occasionally Via Veneto is closed to traffic in which case you will have to avoid the city center and instead arrive from the other side i.e. Piazza Fiume. If you are arriving from the North we suggest you take the Via Salaria which terminates at the start of the city centre. Go directly through Piazza Fiume and take the second right Via Boncampagni ( named after the Prince Boncompagni Ludovosi whose two surnames have been given to major roads in the Via Veneto area - his old estate is now the American Embassy located only 50 metres away) Take via Boncampagni and Via Piemonte is on your right… all the major streets in this area are named after italy's regions so if you see Via Toscana or Via Sardegna you know are pretty close… By Air - Rome has two international airports and the connections from the airport to the city centre are excellent. The Hotel Veneto is near Termini Train Station being only a 10 minute walk away. From Fiumicino Airport which is where the main international flights arrive (Fiumicino also known as Leonardo Da Vinci airport) you are advised to take the airport shuttle train to Termini and then either walk to the hotel or take a taxi.
