Captain Oliver's waterfront resort is uniquely located on the French/Dutch border on the island of St. Martin/St. Maarten. The resort is often described as a charming intimate getaway off-the-beaten-path, yet the unique location offers easy accessibility to the island's other attributes. The glass wall of the swimming pool (a.k.a. the "People Aquarium") and the International Bridge entrance to Captain Oliver's Restaurant designate the border. The hotel is French, while the restaurants & marina are Dutch - a symbol of the island's unity. Captain Oliver's Hotel was designed to integrate with nature - the hillside bungalows along the waterfront are nestled among tropical plants, natural rock outcroppings and winding paths. The spacious junior suites have private terraces or balconies offering spectacular views.
