- Efficient & friendly service, even at 5 a.m. - First trip, great-value room ($85). Second trip, pricier & fancier room. (I preferred the first room.) - Excellent business center.

- The lights are too complicated ! (I found this in many hotel rooms in Navarra.) - Please add clocks somewhere in the rooms. I usually use the television to check the time, but the 2nd room's television had no time broadcasted on any channel. Very inconvenient ! - On the first trip, I asked for an iron. The previous user had burned the iron, so it was un-useable.

I have already recommended the Hotel Carlton & will continue to do so ! Especially my first room - which was only $85 - I feel was an excellent value.

The Hotel Carlton is one of the most emblematic buildings in Bilbao. It stands on Plaza Federico Moyúa, the confluence of the main shopping and business streets in the Bilbao Ensanche district. Built in 1919 and declared a Monument of Architectural, Historic, Artistic and Cultural Interest, it has been completely renovated and is constantly being updated with improvements that enable us to fully satisfy our guests’ expectations.
