La Valle a Polvereto is a beautiful old farm estate extending 28 hectares, covered with vineyards, olive groves, orchards, grassy areas and woodland. The garden is an ideal place in which to relax and for the more energetic there is a footpath leading through the estate for you to explore. La Valle is set in the hills in a most picturesque area between Montespertoli and Tavarnelle Val di Pesa between Florence and Siena. The farmhouse has been carefully restored to maintain many of its original features. The owners have created a lovely English garden with a variety of roses, clematises, herbs and shrubs. There is a good swimming pool in the garden (7m x 14m) from where you can enjoy superb views across the valley. Montespertoli, which is famous for its wine festivals, and Tavarnelle are nearby and offer good shopping facilities and a variety of restaurants. The farmhouse has been carefully divided into seven properties all of which are comfortably furnished to a high standard with a selection of antique rustic furniture.
