Valhall As is a Hotel resort situated on the island of Krøttøy and offers the chance to enjoy dramatic windswept coastline and breathtaking views. Take the opportunity to watch seals, whales and birdlife in their natural environment. The simple accommodation is a newly renovated building that used to be part of a coastal military fort. The 12 double rooms, all of which have private bathroom facilities, and four family rooms have bunks and sleep up to five people and share a large communal bathroom. This adventure centre offers a wide range of nature based experiences in the world's northernmost archipelago. The area is very popular with bird watchers. Remember to take the opportunity to rent a boat, do some deep sea rafting, deep sea fishing or just relax on one of the many sandy white beaches. Krøttøy is a unique location for observing the Northern Lights. Very little light is emitted from the ground, which makes ideal conditions for observing the stars and Northern Lights. Our restaurant caters for up to 60 guests and we allow the seasons to influence our menu.
