Hotel Aysofya was built ýn the 19th Century as a private Ottoman residence ýn the traditional wooden style. In 1990 it opened as a Special Class Historic Hotel and ýn Aprýl 2009 it was taken over by an Australian owner who upgraded comforts of the rooms and enhanced this beautiful Ottoman Hotel. Nestled beneath the old Hippodrome walls the hotel is very close to the Blue Mosque and within walking distance to Hagia Sophia The Grant Bazaar and Topkapi Palace. So close to everything but in a quiet charming local street where you can relax without the hassle of traders and feel part of the local community. There is a Garden Rooftop Terrace Bar where you can relax and enjoy an evening drink after a long day's sightseeing. Ayasofya provides a relaxed and homely atmosphere where our friendly staff and Australian host will offer you a warm welcome.
