It is only a five-minute walk to the nearest underground station or bus stop; the well known Potsdamer Platz is just ten minutes away. Within ten minutes on public transport, you can get to the Brandenburger Tor, the Zoologischer Garten and the Gedächtniskirche. Take the underground lines U1 and U2, for Berlin’s liveliest areas, e. g. the Alexanderplatz in the east of town, the Hackescher Markt (shops and cafés), the Kurfürstendamm, the Bergmannstrasse in Kreuzberg, Simon-Dach-Viertel in Friedrichshain, and the pedestrian precinct in the old brewery at Prenzlauer Berg. There are also the fair grounds called Messe Berlin, the O2-Arena and Olympic Stadium.
