Hotel Coralba, situated in one of the most panoramic points of Ischia, the green isle, world-famous for its spas and its healing waters, has been opened at Casamicciola Terme in 1970. The hotel is located in a strategic position between the sea and the thermal installations. Actually it is situated in a point were the critic and writer Benedetto Croce, one of the few survivors of the 1883 earthquake, used to live, and it is not far away from the ancient home of the Norwegian dramaturgist Henrik Ibsen, still another intellectual in love with Ischia. Over the years Hotel Coralba has been the refuge of many personalities from the world of culture and show business, such as the singer Lucio Dalla and the actor Massimo Troisi who were all attracted by the mild climate of the island and the hospitality of its people. It is now the destination of a demanding international clientele arriving at Casamicciola Terme in search of tranquillity, well being and a healthy and genuine cuisine.
