Hotel La Gravenna is situated in the "Casentino" valley, a place of archeological, historical and cultural interest, surrounded by the Apennines and secular forests. The location itself is excellent to easily reach the Sanctuaries such as Camaldoli or La Verna (St. Francis of Assisi). Closeby the hometown of Michelangelo and Piero della Francesca. The hotel is placed along the torrent Gravenna, where the silence dominates uncontested. The hotel is characterized by a big 18th Century fireplace in the middle of the hall and furnished with rare antiques. The room furniture is personalized and provided with private bathroom/shower, telephone with direct line and TV. The restaurant is well known for its very high standard of cooking. All tuscan dishes are mainly cooked on firewood and only fresh seasonal ingredients are used. The hotel also has a small meeting hall with a fireplace for max. 50 people, Internet Corner, a bar, an ample parking for cars and busses and a park with tall stem trees.
